'Twas the night before Vacation, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, because the creatures were at Marmi's house;
The timers were tuned for the lights with care,
In hopes that no one will know that we're not there;
We were nestled all snug in our beds,
While visions of Sonoma and Tahoe danced in our heads;
I in my nightie and he in his cap*
Had just settled down for a short winter's nap (for our 6AM plane ride)
*I will not reveal what Hubs sleeps in :-)
We're off to California for Christmas! We'll see you all when we get back!
