Tahoe

While we were in the great state of California we did make a trip to Tahoe.... but there was no snow.

None.

Zilch.

So even though I wanted to take a ski lesson... throw a snowball... something

No such luck.

BUT!

We had fun none the less!

We rode the gondola, had a great lunch, window shopped, ate ice cream, and enjoyed some family time.

Nothing could be better really :-)

Wine Child

So while in Sonoma we had the most excellent dinner

a dinner I'm still tasting in my mouth

and drooling a bit.

We also ordered a bottle of wine at dinner

One thing led to another

And dinner was finished.

We loved it so much we decided to name our adopted child after the bottle of wine.

After today
Nevermind, I still have to tell you about our delicious dinner.... sorry you'll have to suffer through some more.  :-)
But I promise to wait until next week!

The last winery on our tour was Kenwood.
By the time we got there we where all "no need to show us everything -- go straight to the cabs".  We tried 6 Cabernets and loved them so much we joined their wine club.  We've already gotten our first shipment and I am SO excited to have one of them... hopefully for my birthday.

Which is this weekend by the way.
